What a fabulous wedding that Marianne and Jared had! When I meet with any client at our first meeting, we generally review all thoughts and idea that one has for their event, and this wedding I knew would be like no other! Marianne's vision of a Victorian themed wedding was fit for Queen. Her inspiration, "The Age of Innocence", the movie that is. Countless hours of research and the perfect wedding professionals made it a success. It all started with the venue, and one that is near and dear to me, The Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware. Next the Dress, and what a dress at that. Marianne's gown was a couture gown by Atelier Aimee hand made in Italy, adorned with gorgeous purple flowers. Her accessories were right our of a fashion mag. Lace up Booties by Christian Louboutin and jewelry by Atelier Aimee. Marianne's looked could not have been perfected without the help of the beautiful Claudia Seyler. All these memories were captured by the amazing Marie Labbancz. Marie words can not express your amazing talent. And to the couple, you both were a delight to work with and I will never forget this event!

The invites, I loved them from the beginning. Marianne and Jared's scroll invitations were hand calli-graphed by the talented Bernard Maisner of NYC. Each one was tea stained to give it that vintage look. The invitation was tucked in a bronze scroll tube and packaged in a gold box with eggplant colored feathers. If his work looks familiar to you, he worked on the movie"The Age of Innocence" - Fate right!
Marianne looks like she stepped out of the Victorian Era. Absolutely Gorgeous!
The table-scape. Where do I begin. We started our table-scape design mid-point through the planning process. Now where do you begin- the florist of course. Britney of Petals Lane was the master mind behind the floral design from the table-scape and the conservatory. We also partnered with Irene Silver over at Party Rentals LTD for the linen selection. The complete look turned out exactly what Marianne and Jared wanted. A room fit for a regal affair. Each table was decorated with tall candelabras, mini bouquets and crystals. The irish linen napkins rolled in bronze rings and completed with peacock feathers. Each table named a different film selected by Marianne.

The conservatory was the hot spot with draping and lighting it was unbelievable look as soon as you walked in. Lighting was provided by Vic and his team from VU Events. The table-scape was slightly different with tall centerpieces and three varieties of flowers. This was no ordinary room. The cake was an absolute work of art. The cake had a lace detail and hand made cameos completed the look. I couldn't believe that they were edible.
The entertainment. I loved working with this band. Scott Raggsdale, band leader of Raggs and the All Stars were a huge success. Not only did they perform during the reception but a classical trio performed during cocktail hour and a Jazz Trio during dinner. The guests were dancing non stop as soon as they entered the room.
This dance was my favorite. Marianne and Jared danced to a slow Waltz to "Fascination" they were fabulous and absolutely perfect. You both did an amazing job!
